Garden Harvest Greens Recipe

 Garden Harvest Greens:

Ingredients

  • Roughly 8 Cups of Greens - Kale, Swiss Chard, Giant Chard, etc.
  • 1 Medium - Large Size Onion Diced
  • 1 - 2 Jalapeno Peppers (depending on your spice level)
  • 6 Cloves of Garlic - more or less depending on taste
  • 1 tsp. Salt & Pepper - add more or less to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. Onion Powder
  • 3 Tbsp. Cumin
  • 1 Tsp. Cavenders Greek Seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Water with 1 Chicken or Beef Bullion Cube

Directions

  • Chop Greens & Dice Onions/Jalapenos
  • Heat Olive Oil over Medium heat
  • Saute Onions until translucent - add Jalapeno & garlic about mid way
  • Add in seasonings and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant
  • Add in chopped greens and stir casually for about 3 minutes (until greens soften down a little)
  • Add in water and bullion and simmer for 15-20 minutes
  • Add any additional salt/pepper and seasonings to taste
  • Greens should be wilted and soft

*Serve alongside favorite main dish, over rice, over cornbread or however you desire!*
